Reflection on 1st half of the season!

As a new member to the club, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support, encouragement since Jill and I joined the club. It is amazing to see the dedication and passion to keep this great club moving forward and start to grow.

The selectors have had a difficult time organizing teams as a lot of players have been unavailable due to illness, injuries or holidays. We wish the sick and injured a speedy and full recovery and hope to see you back at the club and on the green in the not to distant future.

On Saturday the 16th December I watched Healesville 2 take on Tecoma Upwey. It was a glorious day for bowls. We had 3 new bowlers, Sarah, Judy and Kenny and Jill playing her first game as second. They all seemed nervous to start with but all settled into their roles and the smiles on their faces at the end of the game and the positive remarks, was a great reflection on the experienced bowlers who made their day so enjoyable.
