PAYNESVILLE’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY WEEK OF BOWLS CARNIVAL:MAY 5TH-9TH 2025
Hello bowlers as addressed. Attached is our flier and official entry form our 25th Annual Week of Bowls in the new time slot of 5th-9th May 2025.
We have made the bold move to change from our traditional February time slot due that becoming overcrowded with Mid-week and Saturday pennant finals at either end of the carnival which was impacting strongly on our entry numbers.
Early responses to this change have been positive with several early entries already flowing in.
NEW DATES,NEW FORMAT but the same friendly, welcoming carnival in this great area of the world in Paynesville on the banks of the beautiful Gippsland lakes. We hope to see lots of you who may have come to any of our previous 24 carnivals to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary milestone and we also look forward to welcoming those coming for the first time.
Carnival Features:
-Bar Open for early arrivals from 4.30 pm Saturday 3rd May;
-Free Welcome BBQ at 5.30 pm Sunday 4th May;
– Opening Ceremony prior to first game on Monday 5th May;
-Daily cooked breakfast every day (Mon-Fri) at very affordable prices;
-Daily lunch orders available;
– approx. $4500 in prize money on offer;
-lots of daily raffles with heaps of prizes;
– we are still investigating the possibility of a 25th Anniversary Dinner Dance on Friday 9th May;
